Gert Simons – Co-founder and Managing CEO
Gert Simons is one of the founders of HVR Software and the leading force behind the company. In 1985 he co-founded PSB together with Kees van Nimwegen. PSB specializes in the analysis, design, building and maintenance of high-quality information systems. In 2001 he co-founded Osiris, a market leader for student tracking and education management aimed at university students. Gert holds a masters degree in economics at the VU University in Amsterdam where he studied with co-founder Kees van Nimwegen.

Kees van Nimwegen – Co-founder
Kees van Nimwegen is an authority in IT project management and software architecture. He has been responsible for Finance and Operations since he co-founded PSB with Gert Simons in 1985. He organized the development of HVR as the highly successful middleware solution for synchronizing databases. Furthermore Mr. van Nimwegen developed OSIRIS and many other large software projects for Dutch Ministries and governmental institutions. He has a master degree in economics at the VU University in Amsterdam.

Steve Sheil – Chief Technology Officer
Steve Sheil manages the Product Engineering department and functions as lead designer of HVR's "network stream" architecture. He has extensive knowledge and experience with Operating Systems, Networking and DBMS internals. Before moving to HVR Software bv, Steve worked as Database Consultant and Manager of Technical Support at Ingres Corporation. Steve has an honors degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath in England.

Hans Scholten – Chief Business Development Officer
Hans Scholten has a distinguished career as a software entrepreneur and marketing visionary. In 1985 he founded Matrix Software, focusing on the growing market for customer relationship management (CRM). Matrix became the dominant player in Europe before getting acquired by Baan Company in 1998. Since then he was involved in the successes of several software companies. Within HVR Software bv Hans is responsible for strategy, marketing & business development. Hans has an advanced degree in Marketing and several honorary certificates.
