Service Desk

Like many others in the market, Atos makes use of Unicenter Service Desk by CA. HVR was developed to be fully operational with Unicenter Service Desk. In fact, a ready-made solution was made for easy and fast replication between Service Desk databases.

Continuous Service Delivery Model

Analysts of Atos use Unicenter Service Desk to work according to international process standards, like Atos Origin's ITIL based Continuous Service Delivery Model (CSDM). Through the use of the HVR its Data Ware-house is filled with data from the production databases of Service Desk. The updating of this Data Warehouse had to occur near real time, like any replicating assignment that is performed by the HVR. The HVR also provides a standby database for high availability.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is one of the country's five armed services. In times of peace USCG operates as part of the Department of Homeland Security, serving as the nation's front-line agency for enforcing laws at sea, protecting the coastline and ports, and saving life. In times of war, or on direction of the President, USCG serves under the Navy Department.

According to Commander Peter Weddington of USCG, the technology of HVR was convincing from the start.
