The Holt Jackson Book Company Limited was established in 1932 and is a major supplier of library books in the UK. Holt Jackson's book ordering system is based on an Ingres database. This system is mission critical and therefore HVR has been implemented to create a fail over database to enable the progress of the system in case of downtime.
