Powerful Products for Mission-Critical Environments

HVR Software supplies three powerful products for mission critical environments; These products cover distinct functional areas but share important common elements; an efficient network streaming architecture, a flexible feature framework and an intuitive Graphical User Interface.

Realtime
Data
Integration
HVR Realtime Data Integration is a robust and reliable database integration tool. Database changes are captured in one (or many) databases, streamed through the system and applied to database targets. These databases can be the same DBMS or a different one. HVR can even replicate files. It has a proven track record in business situations where there is need for quick and reliable database management. HVR’s performance and scalability allows it to replicate very large databases in real-time. And its elegant design and rich functionality means difficult schemes can be implemented with minimum effort.

HVR Realtime Data Integration consists of the following components;
  • Change Data Capture, either straight from the DBMS logging system or via database triggers which can contain embedded business logic.
  • Network streaming for data transporting. Parallelism, extreme compression, minimal disk hopping and reduced round-trips ensure that even the highest data loads can be moved without network latency.
  • Sub-second transactional replication, so that captured transactions are applied on the target database in real-time, with their commit boundaries intact.
  • Database transformation facilities, so that business logic can be injected inside the replication stream to perform data model mappings. These mappings can either be declarative (drag and drop) or entire blocks of SQL can be injected inside the HVR stream.
  • An intuitive and easy to use Graphical User Interface.

Managed
File
Transfer
HVR Managed File Transfer is a single solution that handles all the file transfers within the enterprise. HVR's transport services extend control beyond simple file movement; instead HVR gives end-to-end control of the entire business process from the event when the file is generated unto the files successful processing.

HVR Managed File Transfer consists of the following components;
  • Captured files can be filtered based on their name (patterns or "anti-patterns") and/or their contents.
  • Files can be renamed during delivery or positioned in sub-directories.
  • Network streaming for data transporting. Parallelism, extreme compression, minimal disk hopping and reduced round-trips ensure that even the highest data loads can be moved without network latency.
  • Files can be captured or integrated from or to Windows SharePoint, and can also be pre- or post processed using user-supplied agents, and delivered into SOA webservices.
  • An intuitive and easy to use Graphical User Interface.

Compare
and
Refresh
HVR Compare and Refresh allows synchronization of business data in different databases. This can be used independently for fast and heterogeneous batch-data loading. And it can also complement database replication (capturing changes and applying them to another database) as an indispensable operator utility. Database refresh is when two databases need to be brought into sync with each other. Database compare allows the operator to see whether two large databases are identical or not.
HVR Compare and Refresh consists of the following components;
  • Database transformation facilities, so that business logic can be injected inside the replication stream to perform data model mappings, for example to add data warehouse time columns. These mappings can either be declarative (drag and drop) or entire blocks of SQL can be injected inside the HVR stream.
  • Network streaming for data transporting. Parallelism, extreme compression, minimal disk hopping and reduced round-trips ensure that even the highest data loads can be moved without network latency.
  • Bulk refresh mode, which disables and resets indexes after bulk loading.
  • Row granularity compare, so individual row differences can be seen when comparing business databases.
  • An intuitive and easy to use Graphical User Interface.
