Perform Maintenance with No Downtime

HVR allows zero-downtime maintenance to be performed on a production system. Maintenance could either be nightly or weekly batchwork to load new data files or scripts to recreate table indexes.

Business Continuity

Zero-downtime maintenance is done by switching end-users from the production system to a replica which HVR maintains for Business Continuity ("BC"). The maintenance work can then be performed without conflicting or locking with the end-users. After work is complete HVR will synchronize between the production and BC systems and then end-users can revert back to the production system.
