Anthony joined HVR Software as CEO in April 2016 and brings with him a proven track record of scaling global enterprise software companies.
Prior to joining HVR Software, Anthony was SVP Worldwide Sales & Services at RainStor, where he built field teams and drove the growth that ultimately lead to the company’s acquisition by Teradata. He continued to lead the business at Teradata.
Before that, Anthony was founder and CEO of Coherent Software Corp, which offered auditing and recovery solutions based on SQL Server log-based capture. He remained with the company after it was acquired by GoldenGate in 2005, driving key partnerships and building its SQL Server replication team, and continued in his post after Oracle acquired GoldenGate in 2010.
Outside of work, Anthony loves spending time with his wife, kids and pets, as well as playing golf and watching rugby.
Steve Sheil founded HVR and spearheads the design and architecture of HVR’s “network stream” architecture. Prior to HVR, Steve worked at Actian (formerly Ingres) and with PostNL as technical architect on major projects: for large-scale geographically distributed databases, and for orchestration of complex processes across an enterprise’s distributed resources. Steve has an honors degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath in England.
He was born in the UK but moved to Amsterdam after meeting his future wife… Steve’s father also designed industrial pumps for new types of business; in his case it was hydraulic pumps which allowed the oil & gas industry to explore new types of resources.
