How it works
Running HVR on Amazon Linux 2 is no different than running it on any one of our other supported platforms.
To install the HVR data replication software on Amazon Linux 2, simply drop it into a folder identified by an environment variable HVR_HOME. The listener, to enable remote connectivity through the GUI, or from a hub in a distributed setup, is started upon system (re)start through systemd. If the HVR hub runs on Amazon Linux 2, then the HVR scheduler also becomes a service invoked through systemd.
